Third party funding (TPF) is a fast-growing alternative to financing legal disputes. It allows an unrelated
third party (the funder) to provide financial support to a party in return for an agreed portion of
the proceeds if successful, or nothing if the claim fails.This webinar will provide an introduction to TPF
from two established global funders, including conditions for obtaining funding and the mechanics of a
funding agreement.

Az ICC Nemzetközi Választottbíróság magyar tagjaival - Kecsmár Marianne-nal és Nagy Péterrel - folytatott beszélgetés révén a hallgatóság megismerkedhet az ICC választottbíráskodás jellegzetességeivel és az ICC Nemzetközi Választottbíróság működésével, valamint betekintést nyerhet a magyar tagok feladataiba és munkásságába. A beszélgetés a 2021. januárjában hatályba lépő új ICC Szabályzat főbb újdonságait is ismerteti.

26 November 2020, 10am - 11.30am: Interview with the Hungarian Members of the ICC International Arbitration Court - Backstage Secrets and Current Development

Through a conversation with the Hungarian members of the ICC International Arbitration Court - Marianne Kecsmár and Péter Nagy - the audience can get acquainted with the characteristics of ICC arbitration and the operation of the ICC International Arbitration Court, as well as gain insight into the tasks and work of its Hungarian members. The discussion will also outline the main innovations of the new 2021 ICC Arbitration Rules, which will take effect in January 2021.

2 July 2020: HAA obtains ICC direct membership status

The Hungarian Arbitration Association is proud to announce that it has joined the International Chamber of Commerce as a Direct Member. We look forward to getting involved in the work of the ICC's commissions alongside our international peers and colleagues!
